Overview

Itinerary

Upon your arrival to Cairo airport, our representative will be there to Meet and assist at the airport.

Transfer to the hotel to check in.
Over night at your leisure, optional sound and light show or Dinner Cruise with Oriental Belly Dancing and Tanoura (whirling Dervishes) shows.

Today you check out from Cairo hotel after breakfast, and meet with your tour guide who will go through a quick briefing about your tour. 


Then, you will go on a tour escorted by your Egyptology guide to explore the only standing wonder of the ancient world, the 3 Pyramids of Giza and its guardian Sphinx. 


Short break for a light lunch. Then, You will have a short drive to Cairo's downtown to visit the overwhelming museum in Cairo, the Egyptian museum that displays a huge and rare collection, considered the largest most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world, the Egyptian museum houses over 120,000 ancient artifacts are in display, explore the treasures from the most famous Tomb of the Golden King Tutankhamen that was discovered in the 1920.

Later on, you will be transferred back to your hotel to freshen up before the transfer to the train station to catch the 1st class sleeper train to Aswan about 12 hours.

Arrive Aswan, your luggage will be stored on the car, and go on a guided tour to the Romantic Philae temple.

Then, head to the Authentic Nubian Village and enjoy a home cooked meal, and explore the local street, while your tour guide will tell more about the life and traditions of the Egyptian Nubians.

Transfer to Aswan hotel for overnight. The tour will allow some time to explore Aswan market.

Meals included: Train Breakfast, Nubian Lunch.

After breakfast, 7.30 AM you will join your Egyptology guide to drive to Luxor via Edfu, drive about 2.5 hours and arrive around 10 AM to visit the well-preserved temple of the falcon-god Horus on the way.

Get snacks from the temple's Cafeteria and continue driving to Luxor, you will arrive around 3 pm to check into you hotel and consider an evening visit to Luxor temple or Sound and light show at Karnak temple.

After hotel breakfast, meet your guide to visit the west bank sites, including the world-famous Valley of the Kings, where the Royal tombs are combined and the famous tomb of the Young Pharaoh Tutankhamen was discovered.

Then, have a short drive to the mortuary temple of the iconic Female Pharaoh queen Hatshepsut.

Stop briefly to picture the famous Colossi of Memnon.

Back to city to freshen up and explore the city.
Later this evening, you catch the 1st class sleeper train back to Cairo.

Meals included: Hotel Breakfast, train dinner.

This morning you will arrive Cairo.
Meet your guide at Giza train station, and go on a tour to the medieval part of Cairo and visit some of the oldest churches in the history of Christianity, including the hanging church that was dedicated to the holy Virgin Mary, and St. Sergius church, that houses the crept believed to be used by the Holy family hiding from the Romans. In the same area, you will also see the Jewish Synagogue.

Then, visit Saladin Citadel, constructed in 1172 AD together with the Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali, built in 1823 AD.


Drive back to check into Cairo hotel for overnight.

Based on your flight schedule, enjoy your breakfast at Cairo hotel and then transfer to Cairo international Airport to catch your flight, or you if you still have some more time in Cairo you can consider another optional over-day trip to visit Alexandria or a light tour the Newly opened Civilization Museum.
